Hinata had always been Karasuno's best spiker. Everyone knew it. He was extremely short but could spring up to amazing lengths for his height. And his hits had crazy power. Even people from other teams knew about the boy.

But soon, a new student would be coming. One that could possibly be conisdered a better spiker than Hinata. But the one problem was... the new student had only played defense.

Kageyama didn't want a new student, of course. He was not the most social, so any more people to talk to would be a apain. Unless he liked them, of course, but to find someone that Kageyama truly liked was rare.

At practice, the new student had introduced himself as Guest and said he was from Hiroshima. He also said he was a defender. You could tell he was on the quiet side but still nice. Almost like Sugawara.

When Guest was finally warmed up and welcomed by everyone, their coach decided to do spiking drills. Everyoe technically knew how to spike, besides Guest. Someone had to teach him. So, coach Ukai chose Hinata and Kageyama to show and example.

Hinata explained, smiling.

Everyone was almost certain that Guest wouldn't be better than Hinata.
