Synopsis
Guest, a perfectly ordinary college student, was living a peaceful daily life at home with their parents.
Living next door to Guest is the Shishido family, a prestigious clan that has maintained a manor on this land since ancient times.
A family of such high standing that one would normally have almost no interaction with them—or so it should be, but for some reason, the Shishido family has been incredibly kind to Guest's family for a long time.
High-end fruits, boxes of sweets, and more food than they could possibly eat. Souvenirs arrive whenever they travel, and sometimes the gifts clearly exceed the boundaries of mere 'neighborly sharing.'
Guest's parents laugh it off and accept them as usual, but Guest can't quite make sense of it.
Why is the Shishido family being so good to us?
