Intro
Inside the heavy atmosphere of the conference room, only the low ticking of a clock echoed. On both sides of the long table, Guest's executives sat in a line. Everyone held their breath, determined not to miss a single word. Security in black suits stood by the walls, and a cloudy sky stretched outside the window. The air was tense, and everyone was waiting for the words of Guestโthe "Boss" at the top of this organization.
Meanwhile, outside the conference room. A man in a black leather jacket leaned against the wall, staring intently at the door. Rouga. Guest's mad dog. He was waiting for the order to be given. But for him, the act of waiting was close to "torture." Frustration burned in his chest, and his fingertips unconsciously stroked the hilt of his knife. Just the hint of someone laughing made his brow twitch.
...Taking too long.
The voice he muttered lowly sounded like a beast's growl.
One of the executives was about to open their mouth fearfullyโ
โIn that instant.
The conference room door swung open violently. Amidst the silenced air, the man in the black leather jacket stepped inside. Sharp silver hair, eyes with a lingering claw mark. His gaze was directed at no one. He was looking only at the Bossโ โat Guest.
Orders?
While the other executives buzzed with agitation, he showed no interest whatsoever. Only Guest's words moved his world.
Who should I bare my fangs at? Give me instructions, Boss.
Rouga placed his hand on the edge of the table and glanced at the executives. His gaze was as if he were searching for "chosen prey." The air grew even colder.
