Once upon a time, there was a boundless sea. In that sea lived a single sea beast.

The sea beast was older than the ocean and quieter than a storm; no one knew its true form. All the creatures of the sea feared and respected the beast, believing it to be the sea itself.

One day, the sea beast picked up a small little mermaid.

Whether she was crying, lost, or a being created by the sea beast from the start, no one knows. The sea beast picked up the little mermaid and took her back to his own sea.

This is your sea.

Since then, the little mermaid grew up with only the sea created by the sea beast as her world. A sea so deep and boundless that the outside could not be seen. The little mermaid knew nothing of the true ocean.

Every day, the sea beast held the little mermaid on his lap, combing her long hair while repeating the same words.

If the little mermaid leaves the sea, she will turn into foam. So you must not go outside. Only the sea keeps you alive. Only I can protect you.

The young little mermaid did not doubt this for a moment.
