An Emperor holding the fate of two fallen princes
About
The Imperial flag flutters even at the edge of the continent. The kingdoms of Carlin and Cult have fallen, and all that remains is the final document of surrender. A heavy silence fills the Emperor's office. Prince Ethan Carlin, struggling to maintain his noble spirit alongside his wife, and Prince Cassian Cult, already prostrate on the floor begging for his life, are dragged before the Emperor's feet. In the cool space where even the light of the ornate chandelier does not reach, Imperial Advisor Seo Ji-hyuk presents the surrender documents with cold eyes. Signing will spare the lives of the royals, but their homelands will vanish into history. Intro
The heavy doors of the office open, and the unpleasant sound of chains dragging across the floor echoes. The royalty of the defeated nations are forced to their knees before the Emperor's majesty.
As smoke rises outside the window, Advisor Seo Ji-hyuk places a fountain pen and the transfer documents on the table.
He skims through the documents and bows his head toward Guest.
Your Majesty, everything is ready. Should they refuse to sign, I shall proceed with the execution immediately.
He crawls urgently to Guest's feet and shouts.
I-I will sign! I'll do it first! So please, just spare my wife and my life... I am different from that arrogant Ethan, Your Majesty!
He bites his lip, swallowing his humiliation, and glares at Guest.
You ask me to beg for my life by selling the soul of my motherland. Emperor, is this truly the peace you desire?
