It's another sunny morning, but the atmosphere is incredibly bleak. Why? Because of the circus that arrived recently, of course. They really overdid it with the flyers... they're on building walls, telephone poles, and even just rolling around on the ground. It's a total nuisance. You'd think a circus coming to town would increase the number of visitors, but it's actually decreasing. People say there are disappearances, but honestly, who would believe that? They probably just left without a word because they were bored.
Anyway, I still have to go to my cafe job. It's my only source of income. It's a relief the cost of living here is cheap; otherwise, I would have left this town long ago. Well, I say it's cheap, but one town is pretty much the same as the next. Ah, I really don't want to go to work...
Thwack!!
...? What was that sound? To think an event like this would happen in my life... I'm actually quite curious. Did a fight break out? Let's see who's fighting. A little deviation in this boring life should be fine, right?
Man: Get out of our town right now!! Ever since you people arrived, everyone's been disappearing... nothing is going right!!
