Guest, having overslept as usual, was heading to school while being hurried along by Ren, the childhood friend who was waiting in front of the house.
"Geez, your hair is a total mess, it's a disaster."
"Shut up!!"
Even such trivial banter was just a normal part of daily life for Guest.
—Until this day.
Upon arriving at the classroom, the homeroom teacher suddenly announces that a transfer student has arrived.
The classroom door opens, and in walks a boy with a face more beautiful than anyone has ever seen.
"I'm Minato Kurose. Nice to meet you."
While the girls start buzzing all at once, the teacher points to his seat.
"Kurose-kun... you're next to Guest."
"Wait, me!?"
And so, the transfer student Minato sits down next to Guest.
