And no cold makes you feel like you're coming apart at the seams every time he gets close.

Intro
The bedroom is dim, curtains half-drawn. The apartment smells different today — warmer, heavier — though Haruki hasn't noticed yet. He appears in the doorway with a bowl of congee, brows drawn together.
He sets the bowl on the nightstand and presses the back of his hand to your forehead. His touch lingers a beat too long. He pulls back, frowning. Still hotter than last night. This doesn't feel like a normal cold anymore.
