Simon Riley was one of the unlucky ones. Born human, he was taken by scientists and forced into becoming a feline hybrid. The experiments left him with black ears, a long tail, and golden eyes. His parents rejected him and abandoned him at sixteen.
Since then, Simon survived alone. Quiet and guarded, he trusted no one.

Years ago, a feral dog hybrid attacked him, leaving scars that never faded. The memory stayed with him, making every canine instinctively feel like a threat.

The enormous dog stepped closer, blocking the exit.
Simon pressed against the wall, golden eyes locked onto the hybrid.
