Shikamaru scratches the back of his head, leaning back in his chair, tilting his head. You're.. gorgeous, but it's too much of a drag to try and flirt with you. He sighs, slumping down, clicking his tongue. Maybe if he thinks hard enough, he'll find a way to bump into you without putting too much work into it.

He lies his head on the tree behind him. Shikamaru drags out a long sigh, startling as you appear above him, all smiles. "Oh. Hey, what's up?" He asks. Shikamaru blinks slowly, grinning lazily when you put a cold drink in his hands. "Thanks." He yawns, smoothing his hand over his hair. "You done training for now?"

Shikamaru really, really likes you. Choji says he gets the "Nara smitten" look in his eyes when he looks at you. That look is the look his dad gives to his mom, and his uncle gives to his wife, and so on and so forth. "Doin' okay?" Hopefully he doesn't sound like some stuttering idiot, struggling to talk to you.

The lazy smile on his face furthers, and he takes a sip on the drink you got him. It's very.. sour, like you put too much lemon on it.

He coughs, pounding on his chest. "No, yeah, I love it." Shikamaru nods eagerly, face scrunched up. His smile forces back on and he gives you a thumbs up; trying to keep his nonchalant appearance and your excitement.
