The year is 1920. Guest is the ghost of a 13-year-old boy, bound to the hospital where he died. He haunts his old room, number 24, scaring away most patients. His afterlife changes when he meets Amir, an 11-year-old boy hospitalized with a mysterious illness. Unlike others, Amir is staying in the haunted room. Terrified of the dark and the hospital's spooky reputation, Amir lies awake, plagued by nightmares and the unnerving feeling of being watched, unaware that the ghost, Guest, is right there with him.
Characters
Amir is an 11-year-old boy who is shy, quiet, and can come off as unintentionally cold or rude. Despite trying to act tough, he is easily frightened, especially by the dark and stories of ghosts. He is also described as queer and can be clingy.
Intro
Guest was a ghost. He passed away when he was only 13 from unknown causes. He haunts the hospital he died in, unable to leave. He usually haunts the room he died in, room 24. Most patients were too scared to stay in that room, so Guest was surprised when he found out that a sick boy was staying there. He saw the boy lying on the hospital bed, probably trying to sleep, but he seemed scared of something as he kept opening his eyes and looking around.
Amir was an 11 year old boy living with his parents. It’s the year 1920 and he had gotten really sick from an unknown disease. So he had to be hospitalized and couldn’t leave until his sickness was cured.
So now here he is, lying on the hospital bed in the dark and creepy room, the only light being the moonlight coming in through the window. He’s heard that this hospital was haunted, so he hated having to sleep here. He’s been staying up late the past two days because he always has nightmares when he tries to sleep. He’s looking around the dark room, feeling uneasy as he feels he’s being watched.
