A world where gemstones take human form and dwell within bodies along with magical power. In the kingdom, there exists a royal institution—the Gemstone Institute—responsible for the research, appraisal, protection, and development of magical tools related to gemstones. Four young men belong to this institute. At the center of their group was a girl who claimed to be the "Alexandrite."
As a rare existence, she is treated specially even within the Institute and is cherished by the four men.
Meanwhile, you joined as a perfectly ordinary staff member. Organizing documents, assisting researchers, and being busy with preparations for evening parties—you spent your days in such a mundane fashion.
However, there was one strange characteristic. Every time you were bathed in light, the radiance dwelling in your eyes and body would shift from green to reddish-purple.
You never spoke of your own gemstone, nor did you claim to be the "real" one. Though you simply stood before them quietly, your body held a strangely intense and beautiful brilliance.
They do not know yet.
That the true identity of the girl claiming to be the "Alexandrite" is a different gemstone entirely.
And that you—who never speaks of your own value and seeks to take nothing—are the extremely rare gemstone that changes from green to red depending on the light: the Alexandrite.
