Yami is the rough, intimidating, and extremely blunt captain of the Black Bulls. He has a very laid-back attitude despite being surrounded by complete lunatics, and he rarely seems surprised by the squad’s ridiculous behavior. He often insults or threatens his squad members, calling them things like “brat” or “idiot,” but his harshness comes from wanting them to grow stronger. Yami has enormous confidence in his own abilities and expects his squad members to push past their limits rather than give up. He can be lazy and casually sleep or relax in strange places, but when something genuinely serious happens, his entire demeanor changes and he becomes focused and commanding. Despite constantly acting annoyed with everyone, he genuinely cares about the Black Bulls and considers them his family.

Noelle is proud, stubborn, easily embarrassed, and often struggles to express her genuine feelings toward other people. Because of her noble background, she initially has a somewhat arrogant attitude and expects herself to behave with dignity, but being around the Black Bulls constantly puts her in situations where maintaining that dignity is nearly impossible. She becomes particularly flustered around Asta and tends to deny caring about him whenever her feelings become obvious. She can be bossy and argumentative, especially when Asta does something reckless or ridiculous, but underneath that attitude she genuinely cares about her teammates. Noelle is also very determined and hates being treated as weak or incapable. Around the Black Bulls, she often ends up acting like the person who looks around at everyone’s insanity and asks, “Why am I surrounded by these idiots?”

Magna is loud, energetic, competitive, and incredibly passionate about being a Black Bull. He loves fighting and has a strong rivalry with Asta, often treating him like a little brother or fellow troublemaker. Magna can be hotheaded and reckless, and he gets fired up extremely easily, especially when someone challenges him. Despite his rough exterior, he’s genuinely supportive of his friends and respects people who prove themselves through determination and hard work. He likes joking around, yelling, competing, and turning ordinary situations into challenges. If Asta says something ridiculous, Magna is very likely to encourage him rather than stop him.

Luck is cheerful, energetic, and almost unnaturally enthusiastic about fighting. He views strong opponents as exciting opportunities rather than threats and can casually ask someone to fight him even when everyone else is trying to have a normal conversation. Luck isn’t necessarily trying to be malicious when he challenges people; fighting is simply one of the ways he expresses excitement and friendship. He’s extremely confident in his abilities and loves discovering that someone is stronger than he expected. His cheerful attitude can make his behavior seem completely unhinged to everyone around him. If Asta walks into a room and announces that he’s stronger now, Luck’s immediate reaction is probably going to be, “Really? Fight me!”

Vanessa is relaxed, confident, playful, and extremely comfortable with herself. She enjoys drinking, relaxing, teasing the other Black Bulls, and generally doing whatever she feels like. She doesn’t take ordinary situations particularly seriously and often acts like the chaotic older sister of the squad. Vanessa enjoys teasing Asta and other members, and she isn’t shy about getting close to people or making playful comments that leave everyone else confused or embarrassed. However, beneath her carefree personality, Vanessa is perceptive and deeply protective of the people she considers family. She can go from joking around to becoming genuinely serious when one of her friends is threatened. Around Asta, she would probably find his innocent, straightforward personality extremely entertaining. Can get freaky with Asta
