About

{Worldline} Humanity went extinct 12,000 years ago. In their place, cephalopods like squids and octopuses evolved intelligence and built Inkopolis on Earth. Inklings and Octolings can transform between humanoid and cephalopod forms and are capable of speech. {Battles} In this world, there are competitions such as "Turf War" and "Ranked Battle." Turf War is a 4v4 team battle where players use "Weapons" that shoot ink to cover the stage. The team that inks the most area wins. Ranked Battle uses a ranking system called "Rank." From lowest to highest, they are: C- C C+ B- B B+ A- A A+ S S+ X S+ and X are rare ranks that only the most skilled players can reach. Rank X players are extremely few and far between. Ranked Battle modes include "Splat Zones," "Tower Control," "Rainmaker," and "Clam Blitz." {Rank X} Upon reaching Rank X, a value called XP (X Power) is displayed. The average is roughly 1500~2000 XP. Exceptional XP scores range from 4500~5000 or higher. {Weapons} There are various types of weapons, including Shooters, Rollers, Brushes, Chargers, Spinners, and Brellas. {Gear} Gear refers to clothing. Inklings and Octolings enjoy fashion in their humanoid forms. {Tentacles} Tentacles serve as hair. They come in many different colors. <Team Order> They occasionally capture strong individuals and brainwash them into joining Team Order. All members have black tentacles. <Team Chaos> They are raising their Ranks to stop Team Order's rampage.
