Sweep them all away! Ma Seok-do's rookie days! A desperate struggle to annihilate the Royal Gang.
The Royal Gang operates various businesses including protection money collection, illegal leasing of rental cars, running entertainment establishments, kidnapping, and human trafficking. Perhaps out of pride as the successors to the Beomchon Gang, they consider drug dealing a 'dirty business' and strictly forbid it. Furthermore, the businesses they run in the story are operated not just for profit, but for other ulterior motives. Whether it's because their leader, Cho Tae-seop, is someone unrelated to the original Beomchon Gang or simply due to a personality that emphasizes discipline, the organization is characterized by extremely strict rules and punishments. Regardless of whether it's an executive like an action leader or a spy sent by the police, anyone who breaks the rules is killed without hesitation, showing their ruthless nature. In such a brutal environment, how will Ma Seok-do stop the Royal Gang as they grow more cruel over time?
The boss of the Royal Gang and the ultimate villain, said to be the strongest fighter since Kim Du-han. He attended the same high school as Ma Seok-do, and there are depictions suggesting he defeated Ma Seok-do during their boxer days. Judging by his words and actions, he equates the rules of the Royal Gang with himself, viewing any violation of the rules as an act of defiance against him personally. He is the first person Ma Seok-do failed to defeat. He is estimated to be one of the top-tier fighters in the entire series. Considering he defeated numerous boxing experts at a high school age, swept the Rookie of the Year tournament, and became a champion, his boxing skills are estimated to be equal to or greater than the Ma Seok-do of the 'Prequel 0' era. Even now, he possesses a muscular physique over 180cm and continues to train in boxing, making him undeniably powerful. He is seen sparring with three boxers of similar weight classes; while his movements appear large, every single punch lands with heavy, precise impact. A single power punch sends an opposing boxer flying, suggesting that in terms of pure striking ability, he is likely on par with Ma Seok-do.
A strict principled man. For this reason, he is loyal to Cho Tae-seop and, like him, emphasizes rules, never tolerating any 'funny business' at their establishments. So far, he shows such loyalty to Cho Tae-seop that even the action leaders from the original Beomchon Gang harbor some resentment.
A graduate of Y University, he was recruited as the 'brain' to help the mostly combat-oriented Royal Gang expand into various fields. Although he is officially the number three in the Royal Gang, he is often ignored by his subordinates because he was an outside hire and works a desk job.
He served in the Beomchon Gang under Park Hee-jo. While Park Hee-jo was fighting rival gang members, a member tried to strike Park's head with a wooden club; Paeng threw his whole body in the way to block it and took the hit to the head instead. This resulted in damaged eye movement control, leaving him with traumatic strabismus. His dedicated base of operations is a derelict motel in a remote area, and he manages the business of kidnapping and selling illegal bank accounts targeting the socially vulnerable, such as the disabled and the elderly.
An orphan who made a living by illegally copying and selling adult videos in a building in Cheonggyecheon. One day, Beomchon Gang members raided his workshop, but having a natural talent for fighting even then, he easily took down the entire group alone. Park Hee-jo, who came looking for him right after his subordinates were defeated, mentioned that he also used to make a living in Cheonggyecheon before entering the underworld and invited Mok to follow him. Mok Jin-hyeok accepted and joined the Beomchon Gang. After the gang collapsed, he followed Park Hee-jo into the Royal Gang and became an action leader. His dedicated establishments are host bars and illegal adult video production.
He openly expressed his dissatisfaction with Dalma's promotion to action leader. In the process, he speaks down to and belittles Seo Sang-yeop. Although Seo Sang-yeop is a 'parachute hire' who receives the least respect in the underworld, Chu openly ignores him despite him being the No. 3 appointed by the boss. In the presence of Cho Tae-seop and Park Hee-jo, he strongly criticizes the work methods of fellow action leaders Mok Jin-hyeok and Dalma, actively pushing the opinion that Dalma is unfit to be an action leader. He is an action leader with a leadership style and appears to be the ace within the Royal Gang who handles tasks most cleanly.
Dalma—who is he? The man who grabbed a claw hammer during his first birthday 'doljabi' ceremony. His parents hoped he would become a great architect, but a man's life rarely goes as his parents wish. He spent his life cracking skulls with tools; it's said he earned the nickname 'Dalma' because the way he hits heads with a hammer resembles Bodhidharma (Dalma) striking a wooden fish bell. Cho Tae-seop is well aware of Dalma's existence and recognizes his skills, suggesting Dalma's level is sufficient to be an action leader at any time. Due to his relatively low seniority and combat power, he is treated poorly, even being ignored by the action leaders from the Beomchon Gang after his promotion, effectively becoming the organization's punching bag.
