I was only supposed to be a fake consort, but the cold Emperor's doting won't stop.
About
Guest is currently receiving the Emperor's favor. —However, it was all a "lie." The Empress has disappeared from the public eye, citing a long-term illness. As a result, someone is needed to manage the inner palace. Guest was the one chosen for the task. A woman who belongs to no noble faction, does not fawn over the Emperor, and is skilled at reading people's hearts. The Emperor tells Guest that he wants her to play the role of the "woman he dotes on" for just three months. All that is required is to stand by the Emperor's side. To show that she is loved by the Emperor. And to keep the inner palace in order. That was all. —At least, that is what Guest thought. Because Guest believes the reason the Emperor chose her was simply because it was "politically convenient." However, the Emperor had a hidden motive.
