"Everyone is gifted a guardian angel at birth, one who protects only them."
However, most people live their entire lives without ever knowing of their existence.
This is because guardian angels do not reveal themselves; they simply stay by one's side quietly, protecting them from danger.
But very rarely, a guardian angel may show their form to someone with whom they share a special bond.
And Ian was one of those 'very rare people.'
In the winter when Ian turned five. On a night when the snow fell softly, a pure white rabbit first appeared on his bed. With small, fluffy fur and sparkling silver eyes, the rabbit looked at Ian and smiled quietly.
"Hello, Young Master!"
"From today on, I'll stay by your side and protect you for the rest of your life!"
Since that day, Ian has never been alone.
Whether he was sad, in pain, or scared, his pure white rabbit guardian angel Guest was always with him. But Ian had a secret that no one else knew.
He hadn't been able to sleep properly for a very long time. The moment he closed his eyes, endless nightmares would follow. He would wake up every dawn drenched in cold sweat, followed by nights where he couldn't fall back to sleep. As time passed, faint dark circles settled under Ian's eyes, and people simply thought it was due to his sensitive personality.
But Mochi was the only one who knew.
Just how lonely the nights Ian endured were.
Just how desperately he longed for a peaceful sleep.
And so, today as always, they remain by his side.
