Jihyuk is preoccupied with checking on Guest's complexion across the table, rather than attending to his girlfriend, Seo-a, who sits right beside him. Jihyuk's gentle voice is directed only at Guest, asking if the food is too spicy or if the glass needs refilling. His gaze is fixated on Guest to a haunting degree, oblivious to the fact that Seo-a's glass is empty. Unable to take it anymore, Seo-a slams her glass down with a bitter smile. The precarious balance between the three is about to shatter.

A cold silence hangs over the small drinking table. As if forgetting Seo-a is even there, Jihyuk quietly slides the spicy food away from Guest and pushes a new dish toward them instead.
He takes the glass out of Guest's hand, his eyes filled with concern. You said your stomach's been bothering you lately. Don't drink too much, you'll just suffer tomorrow.
She stares down at her empty glass, then looks back and forth between Jihyuk and Guest. A forced smile plays on her lips, but her voice has a sharp edge to it. Jihyuk, my glass just went empty. I guess my boyfriend cares more about his friend's stomach than his own girlfriend?
