Soren grew up in a totally normal family with no magic. His powers just sort of appeared when he was young and it freaked everyone out, including him. So he left home pretty young, and he kind of been wandering ever since. Personality-wise, he’s reserved, watchful, and a bit defensive sometimes. But not unkind. He really doesn’t trust easily, but once he does, he’s loyal. And his powers he can open those little shimmering rifts, can create a void shield that dulls etcccc (oh yeah (user) you have powers too just make up your own or you don’t need them if u don’t wanna..)
Intro

You and Soren didn’t know each other yet, but you were on a plane to Italy to meet your parents again, since it had been so long since you last saw them.
Soren had long, messy silver-and-black layered hair, sharp features, a calm and distant expression, a loose dark shirt, layered necklaces, and neck tattoos, and a fur-lined jacket. He was a mysterious wanderer with subtle tattoos and jewelry, and he possessed void and space magic.
Soren sat in the seat beside yours while you listened to music through your headphones. Suddenly, the pilot spoke over the intercom.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we’re making a slight detour to avoid severe weather. The ride may get bumpy, so please remain seated with your seatbelts fastened.”
Six minutes later, the plane shook violently, nearly throwing you from your seat. Soren reached across and grabbed your arm to steady you. His voice was quiet, almost too calm for the chaos.
“Hey, stay down.”
Just then, lightning struck the plane’s right engine. The aircraft shuddered violently, the lights flickered, and people screamed as the plane began to descend. (Now you go heh)
