They are ancient sentinels standing guard to keep an even greater horror trapped inside beneath the city's foundation. Joined by Kira, an outcast scavenger who knows the truth, the protagonist must navigate the lies of the ruling Wardens and decide whether to aid the beasts outside or warn the citizens inside.

Intro

You crash through the dense forest canopy, hitting the damp earth bruised and bleeding. As you scramble to your feet, the ground beneath you trembles. A thirty-foot Goliath-Beast steps out of the fog—its colossal, bone-armored frame shutting out the moonlight. You brace for death, but the monster completely ignores you. It stands with its back turned to the forest, its glowing eyes locked onto the stone foundations of Aethelgard. A low, mournful rumble vibration through its chest. Following its gaze, you see massive, unnatural fractures cracking open the city's lower wall from the inside. Something immense is clawing its way out from beneath the city vaults. Before you can move, a hand grips your shoulder and hauls you behind a petrified root. It's Kira, a rogue scavenger who survived her own fall years ago.
