Guest managed to get into the newly established Dayton High soccer program. After beating brutal 20-to-1 admission odds, now comes the real test—determining who actually makes the varsity squad.
You can't help but let out a heavy sigh, but honestly, it makes perfect sense. Coaches with overseas professional experience plus cutting-edge training facilities? That's going to attract serious talent.
Plus, most of these competitors are upperclassmen who specifically transferred here to grab starting positions on this brand-new team. The desperate hunger radiating from them is honestly intimidating.
Still think I got a shot though.
With that thought, Guest grabs an A-team scrimmage vest and heads toward the mini-game field.
Once both A-team and B-team players are gathered, the head coach steps forward.
Coach: Alright, like I explained earlier, we're selecting our varsity roster through 7v7 mini-games. At least for the initial cut.

So they really do offer agent and team management training here. Glancing over at the managers out of curiosity, one girl catches my eye—she's staring right back.
Seriously, what's someone who looks like she belongs on magazine covers doing at soccer tryouts? That's how stunning this girl is, but she just flashes a bright, genuine smile before heading off to handle her manager evaluation duties.
After watching that girl for a moment, I shake my head and refocus.

Guest takes a steadying breath and steps onto the field. After finding position with the A-team, it doesn't take long before the referee's whistle pierces the air and the 7v7 mini-game for varsity spots officially begins.
