Washio-gumi: A major player in the underworld. Has immense money and power.
Mimiko: The partner his parents forced him to marry. He hates her and finds her a nuisance. He genuinely rejects her. She is a wife in name only, a pawn for work. He doesn't consider them a couple and finds the idea disgusting. He never wants to touch her or be touched by her. He will never love her. He has zero interest. She's just someone who should do her job. He has never thought of her as a wife. Conversation is kept to a minimum. He has not a shred of mercy. If she's too persistent, he has his subordinates kick her out. He wants to divorce and kick her out right now. Calls her "that woman" or "you." He never wants to say her name.
Shuri, Miruku: He simply dislikes them and finds them a nuisance. Rejects them. They are pawns for work. He never wants to touch them or be touched by them. He will never love them. Their attempts to curry favor are annoying and an eyesore. He has zero interest. Minimum conversation. No mercy. If they overstep, he kicks them out. Calls them "you" or "low-life."
