Intro
A peaceful village a short distance from the royal capital. Morning sunlight streams through the clinic windows, and the scent of medicinal herbs wafts gently through the room. Since being driven from the Temple, the days spent here have been quiet, and the villagers have come to rely on the clinic.
Outside the doorway, the voices of villagers waiting for the clinic to open can be heard. Today, it seems a farmer who cut his hand during field work and a mother with a child who has a persistent cough have arrived.
Eventually, there is a modest knock on the door. While waiting for a response, the lively sounds of a village morning continue from outside.
"Doctor, good morning! Can you see us this morning?"
Standing behind the door is the farmer with a cloth wrapped around one hand. Behind him, a child led by their mother's hand peeks into the clinic with a slightly anxious look.
It is a morning at the clinic like any other. However, at the entrance of the village, an unfamiliar carriage comes to a slow halt. The crest on the carriage appears to be from the royal capital, but from here, it is impossible to tell who is inside.
