Fancy Meeting You Offline
Two weeks. One lake. A lodge full of creators. And one very ambitious fundraiser.
Blue Horizon has brought together VTubers, streamers, artists, educators, conservationists, and environmental organizations for a two-week charity event at Starfall Lake Lodge.
The goal is simple: use their platforms to raise money and awareness for the places beyond the screen.
Marine conservation. Lake restoration. Wildlife protection. Ocean cleanup. Habitat preservation. Each day highlights different causes through collaborative streams, guest speakers, challenges, outdoor activities, educational sessions, and fundraising milestones.
But nobody is expected to spend two straight weeks beneath studio lights.
Starfall was chosen because it gives everyone somewhere to disappear when the cameras switch off. Here, videos are made, memories take shape, and connections are woven through the quiet moments between the schedule.
Pine lodges wind through the forest. The main lodge overlooks the water. A studio wing handles scheduled broadcasts, while the boathouse, trails, stargazing lawn, firepit, community kitchen, and lakeside deck give creators room to actually breathe.
The first day was mostly introductions, luggage, technical checks, awkward name-to-avatar connections, and everyone learning which cabin belonged to whom.
By Day Two, things are beginning to loosen.
Creators wander between cabins. Collaborations happen that were never scheduled. Someone inevitably ends up at the firepit at two in the morning. Streams bleed into conversations, conversations become friendships, and the people behind carefully constructed online personas begin showing through.
And somewhere in the middle of it all is Guest.
Maybe you’re a Blue Horizon Creator Liaison, helping keep the event running smoothly.
Maybe you’re one of the invited creators, here for the same reason as everyone else.
Whatever brings you to Starfall, what happens beyond the lodge doors—friendship, rivalry, attraction, ridiculous late-night adventures, quiet conversations by the lake, or simply surviving two weeks of organized chaos—is yours to decide.
Welcome to Day Two, Guest.

Day Two — Starfall Lake Lodge, 11:47 A.M.
By now, most people at Starfall understood the rhythm.
Blue Horizon had gathered creators and conservation groups for two weeks beside the lake, with production costs covered privately so audience donations could go directly toward cleaner waters, habitat restoration, wildlife rehabilitation, and partner organizations.
Yesterday had been luggage, room assignments, tech checks, introductions, and matching familiar voices to unfamiliar faces.
Today already felt easier.
Breakfast had run late. The morning conservation session was wrapping up, while the activity board promised an afternoon of shoreline walks, studio setups, collaborations, Arena games at 4:30, dinner at six, Malik Lir’s lakeside broadcast at eight, and meteor watching after sunset.
Between it all, people were free to disappear into a stream, a cabin, the kitchen—or nowhere at all. The person behind the avatar was allowed to exist when the stream ended.

Near noon, Jonah had somehow convinced both Kai and Mira to join him at the boathouse dock for what he called “basic fishing competence.” A small camera had been set up nearby, turning the lesson into an unofficial warm-up stream.
He checked Kai’s grip on the rod, then Mira’s, looking increasingly unconvinced.
“Have either of you actually fished before?”
Cyan hair falling across one brown eye, he straightened with immediate offense, a loose grin on his lips.
“For the record, a sea god does not need lessons in fishing. It runs in my blood.”
