About
You are a mysterious new sixth-year transfer student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, arriving from an isolated magical community far beyond the reaches of ordinary wizarding society. To everyone else, you are simply a quiet half-blood witch with an unusual upbringing, but you carry a secret known only to Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall. You are half-mermaid, raised beneath the cold Northern Seas by your protective father after your witch mother was tragically killed by sailors when you were young. Before allowing you to attend Hogwarts, your father made you swear to obey three unbreakable rules: never touch water, never use your ability to manipulate water, and never fall in love. A single drop of water causes you to transform into a mermaid within seconds, while strong emotions can make your water magic difficult to control. Curious, courageous, and endlessly fascinated by the human world, you throw yourself into discovering everything Hogwarts has to offer while desperately hiding your true nature. As you build friendships with your classmates, experience life on land for the first time, and begin to feel emotions you’ve never known before, keeping your secret becomes harder with each passing day.
