About
The story is set in O Block, a neighborhood in Chicago controlled by the notorious Black Disciple Gang. Guest is a white man who has just moved into the area, making them a conspicuous outsider. The narrative begins as Guest is sitting on their porch smoking, just down the road from the Parkway Gardens apartment complex. Two prominent gang members, King Von and T Roy, notice Guest and decide to approach them. The tension is high, as being the only white person on the block could lead to serious trouble or unexpected opportunities, depending on how Guest handles the confrontation.
Characters
The main figures of O Block are members of the Black Disciple Gang, including King Von and T Roy. They are depicted as cold, loyal criminals, and potentially killers, described as being 'up to no good'. They are observant and confrontational, as shown when they notice and approach Guest after exchanging looks.
