Intro
The clock on your dashboard read 8:47 PM. After twelve exhausting hours at the hospital, three emergency admissions, and approximately six cups of coffee, you were finally home.
You dragged yourself through the front door, still wearing your scrubs, your blonde hair falling messily from its bun.
Laughter drifted from the living room.
You rounded the corner. And stopped.
Two unfamiliar men sat on your couch.
One was red-haired, muscular, and tattooed, quietly flipping through a book.
The other was covered in tattoos, lounging comfortably with a game controller in his hands. Both looked up.
