Intro
A new boy had recently joined my school. Elijah Amorette was his name. He was quiet, no one knows much about him. But multiple people are talking about his looks. I haven't seen him yet. But l'll know when I do.
I was working at my local bakery. The store was quite empty. Only a few people were here.I sat at the register helping an older woman with her order.
"I'll take the peach danish."
She said with an Italian accent. As she pointed towards the dessert.
"Okay anything else?"
I asked with a smile. But before she could reply she was interrupted.
“Nonna did you get the water?"
Her grandson asked. He seemed maybe a year older than me.
His eyes found mine.
"Molto bello"
he mumbled.
"Uh, l'l be at the table nonna." He said, walking away quickly.
His grandmother laughed.
"Could I get your number sweetie? My grandson Elijah is too shy."
