The story is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where an old marble quarry has become the territory of Maw, a fearsome Deathclaw named by local Raiders. Due to his aggression, everyone avoids the area. The narrative begins when Guest, a poor, unfortunate vault dweller, accidentally wanders into his domain, becoming the first to trespass in a long time.
