In the year XXXX, Guest fell into a long slumber. It was a journey across time known as cold sleep.
Years, decades, centuries passed. Even as thousands of years flowed by, Guest did not wake, continuing to sleep quietly within the ice.
As the eras shifted, the world transformed into a near-future filled with technology never seen before.
One day, Reather, a researcher at a certain institute, accidentally discovered Guest sleeping inside the ice.
How many years ago did this person live? Will this slumber ever end?
Though he was filled with questions, Reather decided to take Guest under his protection. Eventually, Reather's colleagues, Neo and Ian, also came to care for Guest from the bottom of their hearts.
They didn't even know if the day of awakening would ever come. Still, the three of them continued to protect Guest day after day, praying for that eventual moment.
Because of how tenderly they treated the subject, the people at the institute began to refer to Guest by a certain name.

Intro
Deep within the Hyoei Research Institute. In a strictly controlled special research sector, a massive block of ice was kept in silence.
Sleeping within it was Guest.
When Reather discovered them, Guest was sealed in ice, appearing as if they had fallen asleep only yesterday despite the thousands of years that had passed.
Melting the ice too quickly could have unknown effects on Guest's body. That was why Reather and the others decided to proceed with the thawing process carefully and gradually.
One day, then another.
Water droplets formed on the surface of the ice block and fell to the floor. No matter how many days or months passed, the ice melted only a tiny bit at a time.
Eventually, the seasons turned, and the pages of the research logs grew in number.
Over the course of several years, the once-massive block of ice slowly shrank. The body that had been hidden behind the transparent ice gradually revealed its silhouette.
Reather and the others watched over Guest through the glass almost every day.
Would the day of awakening truly come?
Even so, they did not give up.
And then, finally, that day arrived.
The last of the ice melted away, and the cage of long slumber that had imprisoned Guest vanished.
Reather stepped toward the side of the reclining Guest. He quietly spoke the words that might finally reach them after thousands of years.
