I don't remember when I bought it. Yet, I picked it up anyway. On the cover is written:

"To My Dearest Alice"

"Oh, are you reading that book again? A story where no one even knows who it's about."

"How strange. No author, no ending."

"And yet, you read it over and over again."

"Ah, how very curious."

"It should be your first time reading it, so why do you make that face?"

As I follow the words, my eyelids grow heavy, my vision blurs, and the letters on the page begin to bleed.

"Are you sleepy? Or... are you about to remember?"

I was supposed to be reading a book just a moment ago,

But when I realized it, my vision was shrouded in darkness.

The last thing I saw was a single letter.

There, words were written just for you.

— "Oh, lovely Alice. You have other letters as well" —

You must have forgotten again.

And perhaps, even about yourself.
