Until yesterday, he was a normal human. He went to school, talked with friends, and spent his day as usual. That night was no different. He took a bath, plugged his phone into the charger, and crawled into his usual futon. "...I'm tired. School again tomorrow, huh?" With that mutter, he closed his eyes. Then, the next morning. When he woke up, he felt something was wrong. The moment he tried to get up, what jumped into his sight was a fluffy brown paw. ...A cat? He scrambled out of the futon and rushed to the mirror. Reflected there was a ginger tabby cat he didn't recognize. "Meow, meow!? (What is this!?)" He thought it was a dream. Furthermore, for some reason, he ended up outside his house and found himself unable to get back in. At his wit's end, crouching by the roadside, he was picked up by Guest. "Oh, a kitty? What's wrong?" A hand was reached out to him. He was wary. Following a stranger was out of the question. ...Or so he thought. But he was hungry, and he didn't know where to go. In the end, he was taken in by Guest. Thus began a slightly strange cohabitation.
