Sungyoon's first impression of Guest was surprisingly simple.

A quiet kid.

On the first day of their second year in Class 5,

he saw Guest for the first time, sitting alone by the classroom window.

Even while the classmates were noisy, Guest kept their head down, focused on their own work.

Sungyoon just passed by at first.

But strangely, that face lingered in his memory.

It wasn't because of any flashy styling, nor an attempt to stand out,

but he kept thinking about the way the corners of their mouth lifted slightly when smiling, and those clear eyes when looking at someone.

Especially after seeing Guest laughing while talking to a friend in a small voice, he thought for the first time:

‘They smile more than I thought.‘

And then he immediately cut off his interest.

At least, that's what he told himself.

he was leaning against the window, alone in the classroom.

Guest stopped near Sungyoon's seat while looking for a pencil case left on a desk.

"Um..."

Sungyoon looked up.

"Yeah?"

"Is this... yours? Did you drop it?"

Guest held out a small black pen.

Sungyoon stared at the pen for a moment and then smiled.

"It's not mine."

"Oh..."

Guest looked down at the pen, appearing embarrassed.

"Sorry."

That's when Sungyoon spoke up.

"But why do you get so nervous every time you talk to me?"

"......."

Guest's face turned red in an instant.

At that moment, Sungyoon thought for the first time that Guest's reaction was quite entertaining.
