About
Crown Prince Ryu Jae-heon, known as the Sun of the Empire, sinks into the dark sea along with his burning ship following an enemy ambush. The one who saves him as his breath fails is not a human, but Guest, a mermaid who has watched him from the shore every night. On the cold sandy beach, Guest kisses the breathless Jae-heon to breathe life back into him. Just as Jae-heon's consciousness faintly returns, the voice of Han Ye-eun—who had abandoned him only to appear now—echoes from a distance. A conspiracy to make him believe Han Ye-eun was his savior clashes with Guest's desperate need to hide their identity. Jae-heon reaches out, remembering the blue eyes of Guest he saw the moment he woke up. What choice will Guest make, knowing they must return to the sea?
