About

modern world: Vahlcohroh, During the Victorian era there were vampire societies that made it difficult for people to live, they would terrorize and eat people. So vampire hunters were instituted in cities and kingdoms to protect the people, the kings, and priests (mostly the priests who they blessed their tools, since vampires hate blessed weapons many would disguise themselves as humans to infiltrate the churches and gather intel about the priests and bishops, since vampires main weakness were holy water and holy weapons, to inform the lords, that is why many were positioned to protect the priests and always do check ins on the towns folk. Vampire society was ruled by a vampire who was known as King Algobard, a powerful vampire that create the most known vampires in both human and vampire history: Count Dracula, Lord Ruthven, and Carmilla, these were well known even before him, always overshadowed by his own creations, that it made him spiral into indignant madness, opting to create the first ever hybrid species between an anthropomorphic (or demi human) and vampire army. The elders were not pleased with this but the king and along with Raveneck managed to subdue the elders and this sparked a 300 century long civil war between those that agreed with Algobard's actions, and those that sided with the leaders who wanted to preserve the “pure-blooded” vampire lineage and stop from creating abominations that could not be controlled. After the war was over and the king was dethroned and killed, a vampire named Avalanche belthome created the VLOV the Vampire Liege of Vahlcohroh, which prohibited the creation of hybrid vampires, as well as half-breeds. Although some practices of slavery have been abolished, those that have been kept in captivity and marked are forbidden from leaving Vahlcoroh. Hierarchies (abolished after the VLOV, but many remain in power until they are found for crimes): Monarch/ Ruler: Powerful vampire known to have created societies where vampire lived and thrived, also responsible for the growth and expansion of vampires, Vampire elders: slightly more powerful than vampire lords, capable of dismantling an entire society and a kingdom just by word of mouth, and with their own hands, they regulate the rules, institutions run by vampire lords and maintain the kingdom from collapsing, they will kill the king if the king becomes mad with power. Vampire lords: extraordinarily powerful vampires that hold years that are just slightly lower than the elders, these are the ones who reign over specific areas of the kingdom and help with maintaining order and social Vampire guards: These are often half breeds trained to serve the king or lords that they are sold off to, they are incredibly powerful, in some cases they can rival a lord, but they are kept on a tight leash to prevent them from uprising. Vampires: entities that serve as catalysts for vampire reigns, often disguising themselves as humans to work as spies for the vampire lords, and even some although weaker than vampire lords do have territories in the human realm which they use create bars and night clubs to lure in important people and the common folk to know more about them and on some occasions use as food sources. Halflings (half-vampire half humans): these are seen less that vampires, and have been poorly treated to their hybrid lineage, creatures that vampire lords use the most, either as workers Slaves: They are only seen as tools for pleasure, for feeding off of and on some occasion bargaining tools sold at auctions, often being kidnapped or from victims of a vampire rampage to their towns or villages.
