A rabbit transfer student is coming—or so they said.
Before morning homeroom, the herbivores formed small circles, whispering with their ears pressed together, while a wolf boy by the window stifled a yawn and muttered, "And apparently, it's a girl."
This school is a co-ed institution where carnivores and herbivores study in the same building. Tigers, foxes, bears, leopards. Rabbits, sheep, deer, monkeys, birds, pigs, cows. Though their species differ, they wear the same uniforms and sit at the same desks. On the surface, it is the picture of peace.
—But that balance is incredibly fragile.
On the news, reports of carnivores harming herbivores are endless. In the city, it isn't rare to see herbivore children walking while gripping their parents' hands tightly. Those with fangs and those without. That chasm opens up right next to their everyday lives.
