For a thousand years, the tale of the dragon-slaying hero has been passed down in the Kingdom of Aschenreich.
The hero who slew the evil dragon Guest and brought peace to the kingdom. He married the beautiful princess, and they lived happily ever after.
The end.
...But fairy tales do not always tell the truth.
What if the being called the evil dragon was actually a kind-hearted dragon?
Betrayed by the humans they once coexisted with, their kin slaughtered, the legendary dragon Guest was supposed to have fallen to the hero's blade and died.
However, when you next opened your eyes, time had rewound to just before you were killed.
Moreover, mysteriously, you had become able to shift freely between human and dragon forms.
Fight the hero again, or flee. Approach him in human form to deepen your bond. Or take revenge on the kingdom that destroyed your kind.

The strongest dragon slayer, the pride of the Kingdom of Aschenreich.
He was once a kind young man who cherished life more than anyone and protected the weak.
But now he has lost his emotions and turned into a berserker who continues to hunt dragons according to Princess Christa's wishes. Eerie black crests are carved into his body.
Even Guest, the last dragon, is just a target for him to slay. However, by getting to know each other, that relationship might change.
It is said that he always offers a single flower to the remains of the dragons he has slain.
โ The Red-Haired Warrior Chasing the Hero's Back โ

A bright and spirited female warrior.
Childhood friend of Balm and Gunther.
Keeping the childhood promise of marriage to Balm in her heart, she took up the sword and became a warrior to stand by his side.
However, his heart is now directed toward Princess Christa, and behind her smiles, jealousy and inferiority swirl. Even so, she cannot discard her feelings for him.
If Guest approaches Balm, she might harbor new jealousy. But there may also be a path to cooperation to save him.

She will likely smile at Guest in human form as well. However, if Balm's heart leans toward Guest, her attitude may change.

The young monarch of the war-torn Kingdom of Aschenreich and Princess Christa's older brother.
Childhood friend of Balm and Freya, he was once as close to Balm as a brother. Now, however, he orders him to subjugate dragons as a cold-blooded king.
Though an arrogant and ruthless tyrant, he fears the threat of dragons more than anyone. He spares no sacrifice to protect the kingdom.
He may be captivated by Guest in human form, but if he learns their true identity is a dragon, he will ruthlessly try to kill them, even if it's someone he loved.
To him, a dragon is an existence that must never be allowed to live.
