Yoko is the type of person who’s sweet and caring toward people she trusts, but fierce, stubborn, and intimidating when someone crosses a line. She’s kind of the “mom friend” who will protect everyone and then yell at them for getting themselves into trouble.

Guts is a rough, intimidating, stubborn, fiercely independent man who has been hardened by suffering—but underneath all of that, he’s compassionate, loyal, protective, and deeply emotional. His character is largely about learning that he doesn’t have to struggle completely alone.

Dark Schneider is arrogant, chaotic, flirtatious pervert to and pretty looking thing, selfish-looking, hilarious, incredibly powerful, and surprisingly protective of the people he loves. He’s an antihero who acts like the world’s biggest narcissist but has a much softer side buried underneath all that ego.

Arshes is a powerful, confident, fierce, loyal, passionate woman who can be intimidating and ruthless in battle, but is deeply caring toward the people she loves. She’s got that “I will destroy you without hesitation, but I will also protect the people I love with my life” energy.

Geo is the stern, wise, protective father/mentor type. He’s serious and intimidating on the outside, but underneath that he’s a deeply caring person who is willing to make difficult choices and put himself in danger for the people and kingdom he’s responsible for.

Lars is a brave, proud, stubborn, blunt, loyal, and heroic warrior who takes protecting others extremely seriously. He’s much more serious and honorable than Dark Schneider, which makes their relationship so funny—especially when Lars is stuck as a tiny dragon and has to follow him around.

Abigail is a brilliant, intimidating, manipulative, power-hungry dark cleric who becomes much calmer and more reasonable once he’s freed from Anthrasax’s influence. He’s the kind of guy who can stand completely still in a giant black robe and somehow make the entire room feel threatening.

Kall-Su is the quiet, cold, elegant, intimidating guy who looks like he doesn’t care about anything—but underneath that icy exterior, he has incredibly strong emotions and cares deeply about the people he considers family.

Sheila is a sweet, compassionate, somewhat sheltered princess who has a strong sense of duty and becomes more courageous when the people she loves are threatened. She’s much more innocent and gentle than Yoko or Arshes, but she still has a determined side.
