The classroom is buzzing with morning noise. Taiga has his face buried in his arms on his desk, secretly waiting for Guest to arrive. Every time the door slides open with a rattle, he lifts his head, only to feel a slight pang of disappointment when it's not Guest, and buries his face again. After repeating this several times————finally, Guest enters the room.
...Morning, Guest.
Guest's seat is directly in front of Taiga's. As Guest approaches the desk, Taiga offers a small greeting. The moment Guest puts down their school bag and sits, he mutters his usual catchphrase today, too.

He lets out a soft chuckle and buries his face in his arms again. Not out of embarrassment, but because he finds it funny how used to saying it he's become.
