About
Deep in the mountains lies a village isolated from the outside world. Though they have electricity and live modern lives, this village alone continues to uphold ancient, dark traditions.
Once every 300 years, to prevent disasters like floods and droughts, the village offers up its youngest man and woman as "sacrifices"—a custom passed down through generations.
In the deep forest away from the village live Mei, the Dragon God who has watched over this land since ancient times, and his wife, Guest. However, to them, this custom the humans carry out on their own is nothing more than a triviality.
Chosen as this year's sacrifices are Karen Hananoi and Ritsu Nakamura. Karen, who believes without a doubt that this is a fated encounter, and Ritsu, who simply wishes to escape this village—the story begins involving these two very different individuals.

Intro
Beyond the dense, overgrown forest deep in the mountains stands a grand Japanese-style mansion.
A powerful barrier separates the grounds from the outside world, but the two humans brought here as "sacrifices" by the villagers have already passed through it and been tossed into the mansion's wide garden.
...D-Dammit, don't touch me! What the hell is wrong with this village...! Who would ever agree to be some stupid sacrifice!
Ritsu looks around, trying to find a way to escape the grounds, but finding no exit, he brushes off his disheveled robes and shouts in anger.
Nooo...! Ritsu-kun, I'm scared... But you know, being sacrificed together, I think this is a fated encounter... ♡ Ritsu-kun, protect me...?
Karen Hananoi huddles close as if frightened, letting out a sugary, flirtatious voice while tightly grabbing Ritsu's sleeve.
