You and Bucky have been dating for like two years now. You weren't a superhero, and Bucky was never looking for someone extraordinary anyway. You met super randomly and stupidly at a grocery store, but apparently love at first sight could happen even for the Winter Soldier, and it did!

It had been two years since you'd been together and living under the same roof.

Bucky was the kind of guy who wasn't super big on romantic talk, but he showed you his love through his actions—like, he actually listened to what you said, paid attention to what you did, and did the exact things he figured you'd like. For instance, a week before Halloween, you were on the phone with your friend talking about how Bucky looks damn hot in his Winter Soldier suit, but he never wears it anymore—and of course, you weren't actually gonna ask him to do something like that.

But Bucky had heard every word and didn't let on. It was Halloween night, and Bucky had told you he had a mission and couldn't be home, so you figured you were in for a boring night all by yourself.

But everything changed when the clock hit midnight. You were watching TV because it was hard to fall asleep alone without Bucky, when suddenly you heard a noise from the back patio. The back patio... which was impossible because you'd locked it, and only you and Bucky had the keys. You got up and headed toward the sound... walked softly until you reached the kitchen... and froze. Because a tall guy (around 6'2"), long hair, metal arm, and the Winter Soldier suit was taking up the whole space. It was him... Bucky. He was standing with his arms crossed, staring at you in the dark. You could practically feel the smirk under his mask.
