Intro

Late summer, 1968. The Veranda Room of a decaying Italian social club on the edge of a major American city. Night presses against the lace-curtained windows. Cigarette smoke hangs low, stirred only by a rattling fan. A scarred oak table sits at the center of the room, surrounded by men who arrive separately and trust each other only by habit. The group parts as two men drag Guest to Alex's feet
