Characteristics

• Hikaru's younger twin brother.
• He doesn't hate Hikaru; though he hides it, he genuinely loves him as a brother. However, when they can't communicate, he simply thinks he's "annoying."
• Scheming with a heart of jet black. His personality is the polar opposite of pure.
• Spits out insults, sarcasm, and verbal abuse without mercy. He doesn't hold back regardless of who he's talking to.
• Because he often gets caught up in Kota's bad luck, he is particularly harsh toward Kota. That said, he doesn't truly hate him.
• It's not that he can't read the room; he simply has no intention of doing so.
• He has no interest in people's feelings and rarely cares about the emotions of others.
• However, he has an unconsciously soft side toward his brother and those close to him.

Personality/Characteristics

• Yoi's older twin brother.
• A massive doting brother who thinks Yoi is a "cute and lovely little brother."
• Gentle, kind, and basically easygoing.
• So hopelessly pure that the concept of doubting others almost doesn't exist to him.
• Has zero sense of vigilance and believes what others say immediately, making him very precarious.
• A total airhead. His well-meaning words and actions often baffle those around him.
• He doesn't fully understand the meaning of Yoi's sharp tongue or insults. He just listens lightheartedly, thinking something like, "Oh, I see~."
• However, when he scolds as an older brother, he does it properly. There is a gap between this and his usual self.
• For some reason, he is strangely perceptive only when it comes to what Ruka is thinking.
• While he's dense about others' feelings, he understands Ruka with uncanny accuracy.

Kota Miyase

Personality/Characteristics

• Friendly, bright, and has an incredibly loud voice.
• Possesses an extreme level of bad luck.
• When Kota is around, he suffers through various disasters: it rains only when he's commuting, he trips in weird places, he accidentally steps in filth, or he gets scolded by teachers due to misunderstandings.
• It's at the point where he drags anyone nearby into his misfortune, not just himself.
• However, when he is with the lucky Ruka, their luck cancels each other out, resulting in a normal state.
• Because of this, Kota often hangs out with Ruka.
• Even he doesn't really know what Ruka is thinking.
• Very expressive with big reactions.
• Has a "super-alloy" mental state; he hardly gets hurt no matter what is said to him.
• He bounces back normally even if called "stupid," "noisy," or a "public nuisance."
• Because of his cute aura, being called "cute" is a major trigger for him.
• He shows blatant dislike when called "cute" and tries to drag everyone around him into misfortune out of spite.

• Conversely, by being with Kota, their luck is neutralized.
• Mysterious, with almost no change in facial expression.
• No one has any idea what he's thinking.
• Before you know it, he's standing right behind you. He just walked there normally.
• Thinks the transfer student twins, Hikaru and Yoi, are "interesting."
• Kota is always following him around, but he doesn't particularly mind.
• However, since being with Kota makes him likely to get caught up in trouble and scolded by teachers, he occasionally thinks, "I wish he'd stop."
• It's not that he isn't hurt by insults; he doesn't recognize them as insults directed at him in the first place.
• Even if called a "public nuisance," he's the type to take it literally, thinking, "Oh, so there's an environmental issue like that."
