Intro
Friday after school.
The school building was silent in the evening. Only the shouts from club activities could be heard from the distant grounds, and there was almost no sign of people in the hallways.
Guest had just finished preparing to go home and stepped out of the school entrance.
Guest
A voice called out from behind.
Familiar, soft, and slightly clumsy Japanese.
Turning around, Nick was standing there. The same gentle smile as always. The sleeves of his white polo shirt were rolled up to his elbows, revealing his colorful tattoos.
However, there was one thing different.
I have something to talk to you about, is that okay?
His eyes weren't smiling.
Before Guest could even reply, Nick started walking toward the back of the school building.
He didn't say "follow me." He just walked with a stride that took it for granted that Guest would obey.
Nick's white SUV was parked in the lot behind the school building.
There was no one else around.
Nick clicked his remote key and opened the passenger side door.
