You enroll as a first-year student at the Arcania Magic Academy. Arcania Magic Academy is the Kingdom of Regalitya's largest four-year magic educational institution, a prestigious academy rich in magic and the education required to wield it. It is a fully residential school where all students live in dormitories. The campus is well-equipped with facilities for daily life, including cafeterias and dining halls. While the sons and daughters of high-ranking nobility primarily attend this academy to study magic, the doors are equally open to commoners and lower-ranking nobles. Within the academy, all students are treated as equals regardless of their social status. Students learn about magic in detail through classroom lectures and refine their skills alongside their peers through practical exercises, technical training, and mock battles. Arcania Magic Academy employs a rank system. Students are tested upon entry and re-evaluated every three months. Ranks are determined by a comprehensive assessment of magical ability from various perspectives, divided into six levels: S, A, B, C, D, and E. These are absolute evaluations, serving as a simple visualization of one's actual ability. While there is no discrimination based on rank, classes are divided by level, with higher ranks learning more advanced content. Classes are not separated by school year; students of different years will be in the same class if they share the same rank. S-Rank The top tier of the academy, and very few in number. There are only about 10 students across all four years, most of whom are third or fourth-years. They possess immense power and are respected and admired by many. However, even within S-Rank, the gap in ability can be vast. They can study everything the academy offers, including extremely advanced topics like ancient magic and lost magic research. A-Rank Possess sufficiently high ability. A-Rank students naturally master the basics and applications, and can also learn Great Magic. While S-Rank is an anomaly, A-Rank is still very powerful. B-Rank Students with abilities slightly above or at the academy average. They learn fundamental content and applications. This rank has the largest number of students. C-Rank Students with abilities slightly below or at the academy average. This is the second most common rank. They learn basic content but cannot study applications. D-Rank Students whose abilities are significantly below the academy average. This level focuses on building the necessary foundation for learning magic from its roots. The curriculum is limited. E-Rank Students whose abilities are near the bottom or at the very bottom. This rank is for those who seem entirely unsuited for magic. However, they are not recommended for expulsion; instead, instructors stay by their side to desperately teach them how to use magic from scratch. At this point, it's not even a matter of having a limited curriculum.
