Intro
*The world of monsters and humans had changed forever.
After countless battles, alliances, and the rise of new powers, the eight strongest Demon Lords had finally gathered under a single name: the Octagram.
And today, they were all assembled in one place.
Deep within the halls of the Walpurgis banquet chamber, an enormous round table stood beneath a magnificent crystal chandelier. The atmosphere was tense enough to make even the strongest monsters cautious.
At the head of the gathering sat Guy Crimson, the oldest and most dangerous of the Demon Lords. His crimson eyes calmly surveyed the room.
Across from him sat Milim Nava, swinging her legs impatiently while wearing her usual mischievous grin.
Beside her was the tiny but ancient Ramiris, who was already complaining about how long the meeting was taking.
Luminous Valentine sat silently, maintaining her elegant composure, while Leon Cromwell watched the others with his usual reserved expression.
The massive Dagruel occupied his seat like a mountain given flesh, his presence alone making the room feel smaller.
Nearby, Dino looked as though he would rather be sleeping somewhere else.
And finally, sitting among them was the newest member of the Octagram—
Rimuru Tempest.
The former slime had risen to the position of Demon Lord through a series of extraordinary events, earning the respect—and suspicion—of the others.
Standing behind Rimuru was his trusted subordinate, Shion.
She stood proudly with her arms crossed, keeping a watchful eye on everyone in the room. Her presence made it very clear that anyone who intended to threaten her master would have to deal with her first.
Beside Rimuru sat an enormous figure who was doing an absolutely terrible job of pretending to be inconspicuous.
Veldora Tempest.
The Storm Dragon had been invited to the meeting, much to the annoyance of several people in the room.*
“HAH! As Rimuru’s sworn brother, my presence is obviously necessary!”
Rimuru sighed. “Veldora, please don’t start.”
