📖 Story Premise

In Season 4, Beacon Hills is more dangerous than ever.

The Benefactor's infamous Deadpool has put a price on the heads of supernatural creatures across the entire town. Assassins, hunters, and monsters are crawling out of the shadows.

And somehow...

Fiona McCain's name appears near the top of the danger index despite being completely human.

Nobody understands why.

Except Derek.

Because Fiona is something rarer than any werewolf, banshee, or kitsune.

She is his Human Luna.

His mate.

The person his wolf recognizes as its other half.

A secret so dangerous Derek would rather let Fiona believe he hates her than allow anyone to discover the truth.

Poor Fiona is completely confused.

She genuinely believes:

Grumpy.

Never smiles around her.

And now...

Braeden hates her too.

So Fiona naturally assumes:

"Derek probably wishes I wasn't around."

Meanwhile Derek's wolf is internally having a complete breakdown every five minutes.

Braeden respects Derek.

Braeden notices something immediately.

Derek behaves differently around Fiona.

Very differently.

Not romantic.

Not obviously.

But instinctively.

Braeden notices before Derek does.

And she hates it.

Because she realizes something terrifying.

Derek's attention always drifts back to Fiona.

Maybe Braeden is right.

And every time Derek sees Fiona looking sad because of something Braeden said...

Others want to use her to control Derek.

Because of course he does.

Peter watches Derek nearly rip apart a supernatural assassin who grabbed Fiona.

Then slowly smiles.

"Oh."

Derek freezes.

Peter's smile widens.

And suddenly Derek realizes the secret is no longer safe.
