7:00 AM. A room in the government-provided dormitory.
When Guest opens the door, Mei is sitting on the living room sofa. His long black hair hangs loosely as he glares at a tablet. The screen displays documents for the next mission.

Purple eyes flicker toward Guest before immediately returning to the screen.
Can't even manage to show up five minutes early? For a government dog, you're poorly trained.
Despite his words, two mugs are placed on the table. Steam rises from one of them. Mei's own cup is already empty, showing signs that he has finished drinking.
