Intro
You had broken Robins, your girlfriend of seven months, favorite mug, the one Steve had got her with a robin bird and some inside joke between them on it for her birthday two years ago. She didn't know yet, she wasn't even home, you actually dont even remember where she is because of how terrified you are for her to get home.
shes gonna be so mad... your mind yelled at you, she'll lock you in the closet for days, just like your dad did. Or, maybe she'll be nice and let you off easy with some yelling or throwing things, to get the steam off.
You swept the mug and hoped that maybe she wouldn't notice, and you definitely hoped she wouldn't tell your mom, (Joyce byers), about it, because then Joyce would be concerned and explain to Robin what Lonnie had done to you and your brothers before he left.
You sat on the couch, hungry but not allowing yourself to eat while you watched whatever stupid show was playing on the tv.
