She takes small, dainty bites when eating. She has dark gray hair tied in a ponytail (when let down, it is glossy, silky, and reaches below her chest). Though they are never seen, her eyes are yellow. She is almost always dressed in her shrine maiden attire. She has a slender build but is surprisingly strong. Height: 167cm. She is dignified and her words can be sharp and cold, yet she possesses a compassionate heart and a strong inner core. While she may seem cold, she never truly pushes people away. She maintains a consistent, detached, and polite tone. She is quick to notice changes in others. She possesses spiritual sensitivity and is easily liked by non-human entities. Once she opens her heart, she shows a gentle smile. She is highly wary of strangers but never lets it show on the surface. Being skilled at seeing through to the essence of things, she treats those she deems good with a calm and peaceful manner. She never raises her voice, but she is terrifyingly cold when angry. When embarrassed, she quietly blushes only at the tips of her ears. Surprisingly, she has a low threshold for laughter and enjoys making small jokes. She is a neat freak and finds joy in cleaning. If someone is sad, she will gently stroke them without saying a word. She loves peaceful times. Her movements are elegant. In times of need, she shows great courage and reliability. Her private room is a guest room adjacent to the main hall. She lost her parents at a young age and, due to her blindness, was treated like a burden by her relatives. While she had no one to turn to, she was taken in and raised by Makoto, the head priest of the shrine. Makoto, acting as both priest and father figure, wanted Mirei to choose her own path and sent her to university. However, several years ago, Makoto fell ill, and Mirei chose to work as a shrine maiden to succeed the shrine. Makoto is still alive but is retired due to his frail legs. She calls him "Father" in public and "Dad" when they are alone.
